Count on Dracula to round up the toughest hombres the Belmont's have ever battled! That's not to say THESE were they, necessarily, but come on, let's show these classic GB guys some love. Note on Enemies: Enemy names are derived from the instruction manual to CastleVania II Belmont's Revenge and the Nintendo Power reviews of Super CastleVania IV, Belmont's Revenge (?), and coverage of The CastleVania Adventure in Nintendo Power's Game Boy guide. Any other enemy not featured in the manual was given a suitable label by me. I don't work for Konami--that would be cool and we'd have the anthology by now--so there you have it. One last thing; enemies here are listed by appearance in game, in the Castle order Crystal, Cloud, Plant, and Rock. Raven
Nevermore would these terrible birds be larger than life than in this chapter of CastleVania Adventures. Awaiting you safely from their high perches, they'll quickly swoop down for the strike once you're in their sights. If you've got the Battle Axe on hand, use it to tear them from the sky before they get the drop on you! Otherwise, go head to head and trap them into swooping into the business end of your Whip. Evil Knight
These haunted suits of armor quietly patrol the castles in much the same way the Black Knights do in CastleVania I and III. If...a...bit...s..l...o....w.....e......r. This opponent will mind its own marching business at first, but strike them one and they'll IMMEDIATELY TURN AROUND TO TROUNCE YOU WITH THEIR IMPENDING TRUDGE!!! Pond Scum
The roles of the Fish Men in this game will be professionally handled by these froggish, bepaddled slimebags. Bounding from the drink of Crystal Castle, these aqueous abherrations will service you with a smile and a patient spit of fire. You should be able to point 'em out from ten blocks away; they blow their own cover with a shadow beneath the surface of the water. Expect to get up close and personal with them later on, though, when you'll have to trek through aqueducts to advance. They'll pop up right behind you, so get read to pop 'em one with the whip. Big Eye
The Merman
*Vampire Bat*
*Jellyfish*
*Mr. Bones on a Rope*
Large Bat
These nasty blasstards look just like pop just before he lost in the last Adventure. Cut 'em down with a strong weapon, otherwise, they'll split into a pair of smaller bats, CastleVania III-style! *Web Spider*
Mud Man
Under Mole
She-Worm
Zeldo
